The strange tale of a haunted painting
Oh man, now I want to experience the painting. As in, go to a hotel with it in my room or some such.

I'm somewhat superstitious and do believe certain things carry an omen, but i also believe a lot of people carry it in their mind.
You get sold a cursed painting, you think about cursed painting. You curse yourself.
I don't think I'd take the painting
One way to possibly counter the spirit moving at night would be to place a mirror in front of it, with the painting facing the mirrors shiny side. It would create a loop that the spirit couldn't break through, it would be trapped in an endless loop.
I'm not saying it was the 👽 but it was the 👽
